Our “soft line” Prestige models benefit from luxury features including exotic veneers, and brass accents and now use our 121cm back. The  Prestige is a supremely elegant piano- its rounded profiles and "softline" design house an extremely responsive and dynamic piano. The brass name and leather music desk add to the look of luxury. "One note and you know it's a Kemble" - the larger soundboard area and the fully braced back helps maximize the sound potential, and produces  beautiful tonal colour.   It uses cherry veneer with inlaid exotic  burr yew veneer bordered by sophisticated marquetry. Britain has long been famous for its yew trees (in the Middle Ages it used to be  a legal requirement for each village to grow them because they supplied the wood for our long bows)- it is an gloriously exciting wood. Truly refined elegance. Practice pedal comes as standard; solid double brass castors.
